Provide Clear, Written Pet Care Instructions for Your Pet Sitter

Clear care instructions are one of the most important tools you can provide your pet sitter. Pets rely on routine, and even small changes in feeding, handling, or environment can cause stress—or health problems.

Written instructions ensure your pet’s care stays consistent while you’re away.

Why Written Pet Care Instructions Are Essential

  • Prevents missed feedings or incorrect portions

  • Reduces stress for pets and sitters

  • Helps sitters recognize what is normal vs. concerning

  • Improves response time in emergencies

This is especially important for cats, senior pets, and exotic species who may hide signs of illness. Follow the template below in order to provide all the necessary information for your pet sitter!
