About the Position

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our doctors and Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) while providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.

Responsibilities include:
 

• Assisting veterinarians and CVTs during exams and procedures

• Handling animals, including exotic species, safely and compassionately in a medical setting

• Performing venipuncture and running in-house laboratory tests

• Checking in clients and assisting with front desk duties as needed

• Answering multi-line phones and communicating with clients in a professional and caring manner

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
  
   

Requirements
 

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant is required

• Animal handling experience in a medical or clinical setting is required

• Strong communication and client service skills

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and a true team player with a positive attitude
